In November 2016, Canadian University Dubai (CUD), in partnership with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' (IEEE) Computer Society, brought the IEEE Conference on Local Computer Networks (LCN) to the Middle East for the first time in its 40-year history.
The IEEE LCN conference is the premier forum on theoretical and practical aspects of computer networking. LCN is highly interactive, promoting an effective exchange of results and ideas among researchers, users, and product developers. Major advances, from high-speed networks to the global Internet, to specialized sensor networks, have been reported at past LCN conferences.
CUD and IEEE hosted the 41st edition of IEEE LCN in Dubai, UAE, from November 7th to 10th, 2016. For further information about the event, contact CUD Associate Professor and General Co-Chair of the conference, Dr. Adel Ben Mnaouer at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.ieeelcn.org
