High Level Chinese Delegation Visits CUD

November 7th, 2018 Canadian University Dubai: A delegation of sixteen Senior Chinese executives attended a workshop entitled “UAE Investment Landscape” facilitated by the University in collaboration with Oriental Wise Educational Consulting FZ-LLC and delivered by the Faculty of Management.

The group included CEO’s CFO’s Vice Presidents and Senior Managers from the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), a state-owned enterprise administered by the Central Government of China. The Corporation operates actively in both domestic and overseas markets with construction and real estate business as its core business

CSCEC is the largest international contractor in China, being listed as one of the world top 225 international contractors by ENR..

Prior to the workshop they met with Dr. Karim Chelli, President and Vice Chancellor of Canadian University Dubai.

The workshop, presented by the Faculty of Management consisted of Dr. Marc Poulin, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Dr. Hanan Mustapha, Assistant Professor and Mr. Haikem Salim, one of our Alumni.

The event was made possible due to our collaboration with Oriental Wise Educational Consulting FZ-LLC. Established in 2010, Oriental Wise focuses on high standard consultancy support, offering educational consulting services which include setting up branches for Chinese universities and educational institutions through the Sino-Arab cultural exchange.

Speaking after the event, Prof. David said that this was a fantastic opportunity for CUD build a strong relationship with one of the most prestigious organizations in China.

He went on to say that we in CUD are delighted to be associated with Oriental Wise and we look forward to further joint ventures in the near future.

The event took place following a recent successful recruitment trip by CUD to China which highlights the importance of CUD being involved with a country which accommodates one quarter of the World’s population.

At the conclusion of the workshop the delegates were escorted on a visit to DIFC.
