Associate Professor in the School of Business Administration, holds a PhD in Strategy and International Marketing from Manchester Business School, UK.

Dr. Benedikt has taught at universities in the UAE and abroad at the graduate and undergraduate level. He has supervised MBA theses and was a visiting fellow at Harvard University.

Previous to entering academia Dr. Benedict worked for multinational companies as a Strategic Planner and as a Sales and Marketing Manager in the UK, Japan and Germany. He has continued his interests outside academia by doing consulting work for a number of UK and German companies and attended a number of academic conferences.
