  • Legacies of Qatar 2022

  • Mr. Ahmed Al Tayeb, a member of UAE National Olympic Committee
  • Dr. Kamllia Swart, an Associate Professor at College of Science and Engineering, HBKU
  • Dr. Luis Henrique Rolim, Consultant and Curator for the galleries’ ‘Qatar host nation’ and ‘Qatar sports culture’
  • Mr. Pedro Correa, a Football Commentator, and a Management Consultant

The goal for this conference is to raise awareness about the regional impacts of the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar by analyzing its national and regional scopes and prospective legacies. It also aims to help CUD students learn and upskill from professional sports industry invitees and guest speakers, as well as to network and explore opportunities.
