Biography
Dr. Ghada Abaido holds a Doctorate degree in Media Studies and Communication from Ain Shams University With Honors and Master’s degree in Mass Communication From Cairo University.
Dr. Abaido has over 18 years of teaching experience in the field of Mass Communication. She has previously worked in Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Ain Shams University where she also served as an Assistant Professor, Quality Assurance Coordinator and Art Committee Consultant.
She has practical experience from Nile TV International News desk along with The Middle East Research Center (MERC). In additional to several community outreach activities and initiatives.
Recognized in 2016 for her positive contribution to the enhancement of students’ life on CUD campus, she is currently a member of the Scientific Committee in The International Institute for Knowledge Management (TIIKM) and an external reviewer for academic Institutions in the region.
Her research interests include; interdisciplinary studies in innovative communication methodologies, Media effects, Media and Social Responsibility, Gender Roles and Media Portrayals, Virtual reality and cybercrimes.
