Dr. Leonie Jooste is an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Management at Canadian University Dubai. She started her career as a Teacher in South Africa and left the teaching profession to continue her career as a University Academic. She is a research associate, and lectures both post and undergraduate students. She served on the Academic Board and Research Colloquium of Universities. Leonie is research active and currently serves on an Accreditation and Quality Assurance committee.
Dr. Leonie obtained her Doctorate in Accounting in 2000 at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She publishes articles in accredited journals, presents papers at international acclaimed conferences, reviews, serves on the editorial board of academic journals, and is an external examiner for PhD students. She acts as an expert witness on cash flows in High Courts, offers workshops, and consults with professionals in her field.
