May 17th, 2016: Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has joined forces with leading global ICT solutions provider, Huawei, to support the empowerment of students through innovation in the context of the UAE’s move towards an information-based economy.
The two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to seal their long-term commitment to the UAE’s younger generation at the International Conference on Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ICLIE), held recently in Dubai.
Hosted by CUD and supported by Huawei, the event brought researchers, practitioners, and policy makers together to focus their efforts on several key pillars of science, innovation and technology in a bid to form effective partnerships that tackle business challenges in the globalized economy.

Our partnership with Canadian University Dubai confirms our support to the youth of the UAE who we see as the enablers of this national strategy.”
