International Conference Proceedings Published in CUD Mathematics Journal

January 10th, 2017: The Gulf Journal of Mathematics, established by Canadian University Dubai (CUD) in 2013, has been chosen to publish the proceedings of an international science conference convened in Morocco last year.

CUD Assistant Professor, Dr. Firuz Kamalov, has been working in partnership with colleagues at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, to publish the proceedings of the International Colloquium of Algebra, Number Theory, Cryptography and Information Security.

The conference brought together both researchers and students to present their approaches and findings on a wide range of mathematical subjects, from artificial intelligence to geometry of numbers. It received 65 submissions from authors across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe, of which the best 18 were chosen for publication in the Journal.

A highly selective publication with less than a third of submissions accepted, the Gulf Journal of Mathematics has published 14 issues since its inception. It is listed by the top two math indexes in the world – the European Mathematical Society and the American Mathematical Society – and is currently being reviewed for indexing by the World’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, SCOPUS.
