Dr. Maha Salman a LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C) architect holding a PhD in Sustainable Architecture from the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom where she got “The Vice Chancellor's Award for an Outstanding Research Degree Thesis”. Dr. Maha Salman embraces numerous years of industry and academic experience in Canada and abroad. She is the author of several publications, including books, and has won a number of awards for her research work. Dr. Maha’s student-centered and interactive approach leads her philosophy to create a positive, engaging, and inspiring learning environment.

Sophie A. Johnson combines her knowledge in design practice, research, and education. Beginning her professional journey in interior design and bespoke furniture making, she later transitioned to the field of teaching. With more than two decades of experience, she has contributed to education at various levels, from undergraduate to postgraduate, and has been an instructor at prominent design institutions in London, including Ravensbourne University, University of the Arts London: Chelsea School of Art, Central St Martins, and Wimbledon.

Zeineb Naouar is an interior architect and academician whose work sits at the intersection of professional practice, pedagogy, and user-centered design. With over 15 years of international experience across Canada, Tunisia, and the UAE, her career spans interior design, fit-out, and construction, bringing a rich, practice-based perspective to design education. 

Shahab Ghandhari is a senior lecturer with several years of experience in interior design and architecture. He holds a Masters degree in Interior Design from the University of Manitoba as well as a Master of Architecture degree. He also holds the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design) certificate, and his professional experience includes healthcare, retail, residential and institutional design in various scales. He has worked in award winning architecture and interior design firms in Winnipeg and Vancouver.

Taghrid Abouzeid is an Architect and Interior Designer who holds a master's degree in architectural science, with multiple research projects focusing on indoor environmental comfort and building efficiency. Taghrid has worked as a Teaching Assistant in architectural education and is also engaged as a researcher and design professional. With experience in interior design and media projects across the UAE and Egypt, Taghrid integrates practical expertise with academic inquiry.

Michael Salvahan holds a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering in the Philippines. Having worked both in the academic and industry settings, he brings over a decade of valuable experience in engineering, design and technology, and project management. His hands-on experience and technological knowledge have been sharpened through a decade of experimenting in engineering laboratories and collaborating with professionals in different fields.
