Biography
Dr. Lakhdar Chadli is an Assistant Professor at Canadian University Dubai. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at the American University in the Emirates, Al Bayan University in Abu Dhabi, the Regional School of Fine Arts at Mostaganem University in Algeria, and the Higher Institute for Performance and Audiovisual Arts (ISMAS) in Algiers. As a Media and Communication professor, he specializes in the development of film, television broadcasts, and interactive media works at the Institut National de l’Image et du Son (L'inis) in Montreal, Canada..
Beyond academia, Dr. Lakhdar Chadli is a multimedia professional with extensive experience as a director, producer, lecturer, journalist, and teacher. His background includes developing live news, talk shows, and current affairs programming. He has received four international film awards and has directed and produced over 35 documentaries. Dr. Chadli played a key role in launching regional TV channels such as MBC, Al Arabiya, Al Hadath, and O3 Production House, as well as the Abu Dhabi Television Satellite Channel, where he served as Executive Producer and Film Director for current affairs and programs, and as Supervisor of the News Research Department. Additionally, he held the position of Chief Editor and Representative for Canal France International (CFI) in the GCC region and has been a professional media trainer with the Arab Media Training Center of Visual Media and Broadcast (Arab League).
