The program has been awarded the accreditation by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE on April 28, 2025.
The MScBA program is a market-relevant program, designed as per the QFEmirates level 9, with emphasis on well-focused program goals and program learning outcomes that prepare students to explore and to be knowledgeable about Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, and IT Governance and management, and Programming for Data Analytics.
Master’s in Business Analytics Program Goals
- Goal 1 Equip students with advanced theories and concepts of Business Analytics.
- Goal 2 Prepare the student with competencies to identify business problems and goals necessitate using Business Analytics to be solved.
- Goal 3 Develop the students ability to apply the principles of Business Analytics to solve business problems.
- Goal 4 Enhance students ability to learn, improve, and apply their competencies and to communicate the business analytics insights with stakeholders.
Upon successful completion of the MScBA program, the graduate will be able to:
- PLO 1: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of business analytics theories and methodologies to address complex industry challenges.
- PLO 2: Apply cutting-edge analytics techniques and tools for sustainable business solutions.
- PLO 3: Articulate complex business insights persuasively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- PLO 4: Develop innovative entrepreneurial strategies by critically evaluating data-driven insights to enhance business performance.
- PLO 5: Implement data governance and ethical principles to ensure compliance with global regulatory standards.
- PLO 6: Perform effectively as a leader or a team member in multidisciplinary settings leveraging emerging technologies to achieve strategic outcomes.

The MScBA degree shall be awarded to a student upon completing the following requirements:
- A student enrolled in the MScBA program must have passed 30 credit hours.
- A student must have achieved a CGPA of not less than 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 points.
- A student must have earned at least 75% of credits at CUD.
- The Dissertation or Applied Research Project must be completed at CUD.
