Dear Students, Scholars, and Future Leaders of a Sustainable World,
On behalf of the community of the School of Health Sciences, Digital Innovation and Sustainability (SHSDIS), it is my privilege to welcome you to a School that stands at the very intersection of the disciplines shaping our world today and tomorrow.
We live in an era defined by complexity. The grand challenges of our time, from global public health crises and environmental degradation to rapid technological disruption, do not respect disciplinary boundaries, and neither should the education that equips you to address them. Health sciences, digital innovation, and sustainability are not parallel tracks; they are deeply intertwined domains that reinforce and amplify one another.
Our school intentionally brings together different dimensions, training you not simply as professionals in a single field but as interdisciplinary thinkers equipped to lead at the nexus of human well-being, technological intelligence, and ecological responsibility. Our academic programmes, research agenda, and community engagement are anchored in the UAE's national sustainability pillars. We offer a carefully curated portfolio of programmes designed to meet both the demands of the marketplace and the obligations of responsible global citizenship. Our BSc programmes are also recognised as pre-medicine pathways, opening doors to selected medical schools in North America.
Through our Canada Pathways, students in our school can pursue credit transfer, dual degrees, exchange programmes, and graduate-level continuation at partner Canadian institutions.
