Wednesday October 18, Lower Boardroom CUD: At a presentation held in the University,representatives from Dubai Police honored the work of the University and in particular the University’s Audio Visual Unit led by Media Specialist Mr. Stephane Chabas.
As part of an ongoing collaboration,CUD has been involved in a range of Audio Visual initiatives with Dubai Police and in particular with the Department of Forensic Science and Criminology.
This collaboration to date has involved CUD and Dubai Police in showcasing the work of the Forensics Dept. The Awards were presented by Col. Khaled Taqi Al Sumaiti of Dubai Police.
Mr. Stephane highlighted the role of the Studio, enabling the University to produce professional AV content both internally and externally. He stated it was a great facility for our students to showcase their talents and receive training in proper film making and photography techniques including an ability to edit their work.
During the Presentation it was announced that as a furtherance of the ongoing agreement that CUD would provide a video editing course for Dubai Police personnel and also attend a video shoot at the General Dept. of Forensic Science and Criminology at Dubai Police headquarters in the coming weeks.
