October 30th, 2018: Ms. Jennifer Waldshütz, International Undergraduate Recruiter from the University of New Brunswick (UNB), delivered a presentation to students interested in completing their studies in Canada.
To accompany her presentation she showed videos of UNB Campuses located in Fredericton and Saint John both known for their secure environment and friendly atmosphere. Included in the videos were testaments from existing students, who stressed the view of all UNB students that “this is my home.”
Jennifer outlined the extensive range of undergraduate programs available and referred to the faculty to student ratio of 1:16 as being the lowest in Canada, giving students a unique access to their Professors.
She referred to UNB’s commitment to student satisfaction, the exceedingly varied collection of programs offered on campus, and the wealth of scholarships available to international students.
One advantage for transfer students is the quick visa turnaround time due to the high reputation of the UNB.
After the presentation, Jennifer held Q&A session. Students were able to ask questions and receive responses on the spot concerning their specific cases.
Strengthening our relationship with one of our most important partners in Eastern Canada Starting in September 2019, there will be a new transfer agreement with the Fredericton campus where students will have the opportunity to complete their BBA degree on a 2 + 2 basis. In addition, for the first time, there will be an MBA transfer agreement where students will be able to complete their postgraduate degree on a 1 + 1 basis.
Speaking at the end of the event Jennifer said “The University of New Brunswick is proud to have a transfer agreement with Canadian University Dubai. The UNB/ CUD collaboration allows students to obtain an internationally recognized degree while giving them the opportunity work in their area of discipline and live on both sides of the Globe.“
Mr. Sid Attou, Manager, Admissions, Transfer to Canada and Alumni Relations, said the visit helped to build on the enduring relationship between CUD and one of our strategic partners on the East coast of Canada stating “as one of our first partners in Canada, we are excited to expand on the existing agreement with UNB to the Fredericton campus”
