Biography
Dr. Tamer Mohamed is an academic and professional leader with over 20 years of experience across higher education, research, and industry. He serves as Chair of the Department of Computer Engineering and Computational Sciences at Canadian University Dubai, leading the BSc. & Msc. AI, BSc. Computer Science, BSc. Cybersecurity, BSc. Software Design, and BSc. Computer and Networking Engineering Technology. His expertise includes software analytics, artificial intelligence, information retrieval, and data-driven decision systems, supported by prior experience as a Project and Program Manager at Hewlett-Packard (HP). He has published extensively in Q1 journals and top IEEE conferences while overseeing program development, faculty growth, and international collaborations. Dr. Mohamed also contributes to the profession as Treasurer of IEEE Young Professionals London (Canada) and Vice President of the PMI London Chapter (Canada). His work consistently bridges academia, industry, and policy through the use of data, AI, and intelligent systems to promote evidence-based decision-making and institutional excellence.
