We are pleased to announce that Canadian University Dubai will host the Dubai TechBots League, SumoX-26, in partnership with Besomi Academy.

The Dubai TechBots League is a full-day inter-university robotics competition bringing together students from across the UAE. Through challenges involving robotics, automation, mechanical design, electronics, programming and applied AI, the League gives students a practical platform to test their capabilities, collaborate with peers and translate academic learning into real-world solutions.
The day opens with an official ceremony featuring Dr. Mohamad Gharib, Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering at CUD, alongside representatives from Besomi Academy, Arduino and Qualcomm. Competition then runs across four arenas, from the group stage through to the knockout rounds and the Grand Final in the Main Arena.
The winning team will receive a cash prize of AED 15,000, recognising exceptional innovation, technical ability and teamwork.
