Architecture Students Visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Earlier this week, Dr. Hoshiar Nooradin, our School of Architecture and Interior Design Faculty member organized an informative work shop for our Architecture students.

As part of the workshop, a group of Architecture students visited the breathtaking Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi; an important Islamic architectural landmark in the region.

The workshop gave students the chance to not only discuss the theoretical aspects of their Design courses and witness architectural concepts brought to life, but also gain insight into the various features that reflect Islamic Architecture, particularly the Mosque design in Islamic cities.
