Biography

Dr. Elshareif holds a PhD in Finance, M. Sc. in Finance, B.Sc. in Cost and Management Accounting and a professional certification from UK (ACCA).

Prior to joining CUD, He has taught for more than 20 years in both public and private universities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Elshareif is also experienced in industry, having worked as Managing Director of the National Institute of Accounting Studies, a chartered accountant and one of the co-founders of RYE intentional for auditing and consultancy services in Sudan.

Dr. Elshareif’s research interests has focused primarily on financial modeling of bond markets, stock market volatility, Corporate Governance, Risk management, accounting and Macroeconomic Performance. In his research publication, he has used advanced Dynamical systems techniques such as Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) and advanced GARCH modelling. He serves as an associate editor for Int. J. of Management Development (IJMD) and actively involved in refereeing the work of other scholars. His publications include:
