Biography
Professor Arianna Mazzeo holds a Post-Doctorate from University of Toronto, Communication, Culture, Information, and Technology (CCIT), Canada. Throughout her career, Professor Arianna has held several senior academic leadership positions across universities in Europe, United States and Canada. She taught at Harvard University, MIT, among others, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in education, research, cross-cultural understanding and learning innovation.
In addition to her academic achievements, Professor Mazzeo is a certified entrepreneur and business strategist. Her diverse academic and industry experiences have fuelled her passion for fostering creative learning inclusive environments and visionary leadership. Her innovative co-learning methodologies, industry-led educational approach, seeks to bridge the gap between life practice, brand identities and academic communities, transforming traditional learning into creative, active learning practices as a medium of inclusive communication and collaboration for all.
Professor Mazzeo is a Fellow of RISDI Center for Complexity, USA, and MIT ACT Research Associate as well as the Director of the International Innovation Research Group "Transforma" since 2000. Her expertise has been recognized through numerous external leadership appointments and awards including serving as Chair of International Conferences, Dean of School and Dean of Public Relations, VP innovation and Research in Europe and Canada and above all from their beloved Students with “Professor of year Award” around the world. She is also curator of creative brand and communication formats for festivals (Dubai Festivals, Open Design Festival Capetown, etc), collaborating with digital media and innovation formats for museums outreach programs( V&A, London) and for new ventures, innovation hubs and start-ups in UAE. Her recent book " Co-learning for People, Place and the Planet" is an invite to consider collaboration as both a method and a framework for digital innovation and mew media communication for all.
She collaborates as Ambassador with MENA NGOs, UNIFEM, UNESCO, EESC-European Economic and Social Committee, United Nations, GSMA, Open Design Festival Cape Town, Civic Innovation Offices and European Network of Culture and Creativity, Ministry of Education, Start-ups Hubs and AI centers in UAE. In her free time, she loves to teach yoga to kids and seniors to balance mind and body, to share peace for all as media of inclusion and collaboration.
