Course Overview
The Film Editing Premiere Pro Workshop short course at Canadian University Dubai will provide students with the technical knowledge of video editing. We encourage students to be the director instead of just the video editor. Students will be provided with professional editing software to gain practical experience using different techniques to implement their thoughts and ideas, and to create new visuals.
The course is designed to teach students to produce video content in different formats such as Instagram reels or YouTube and so on.
Upon completion of this course, students are required to produce a movie.
Certificate
A Certificate of Completion will be provided by Canadian university Dubai at the end of the course, upon submission of a portfolio.

- Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Nomenclature and tools of workstation.
- Video code and sequence format.
- Adding objects, texts, trim, and synching.
- Color correction.
- Chroma key adjustment.
- Voice over techniques.
- Audio balancing and adjustment.
- Transitions and effects.
- Creative directing.
- Exporting and producing.
Equipment
The university will provide a fully equipped lab with software, and for students attending virtually, they are required to have a compatible system.
