The workshop will provide an in-depth look into the editor's role in the academic publishing process, including how papers are handled and what editors prioritize in submissions. Participants will gain insights into the key factors that differentiate papers sent to Associate Editors from those that are desk rejected. The session also highlights the differences between publishing in top-tier journals like ABS 4 and FT50 versus Q1 and Q2 journals. The session will provide insights into navigating the academic publishing landscape, avoiding desk rejection, and developing effective strategies for each paper, concluding with an open discussion.
