About the Program
The BA degree in Communication has been developed in tune with existing and emerging market trends in the media sector across the UAE and the Gulf region at large. Recent expansions in communications activities relating to new media, integrated communications and advertising have created a growing need for qualified professionals with solid educational background.
Job Opportunities
Graduates of the Program are expected to work in areas like marketing and communication for the business sector, news reporting and editing; print media layout and design; photography; online news services; advertising; online public relations; image building initiatives; social marketing campaigns; social media management; international communications; and strategic communications.
Transfer Opportunities
CUD has a close partnership with Brock University in Canada for this degree and students can transfer to Brock after completing one or two years at CUD to earn a Brock degree. Students in the Arabic medium program can also transfer as long as they satisfy the English language requirements by writing TOEFL or IELTS.
