Brock University Showcases Transfer Opportunities for CUD Students

October 12th, 2016: Mr. David Zutautas, international relationship manager at Brock University in Canada has met with students at Canadian University Dubai (CUD) to showcase the unique opportunities available to transfer to the institution’s campus in Ontario.

Introduced by CUD Provost Dr. Muhammed Kabir, Mr. Zutautas presented an overview of the University’s programs and services, and highlighted the benefits for students who choose to transfer their degree or embark upon their graduate studies in Canada.

With 76 undergraduate programs and 47 graduate degrees, Brock University hosts 19,000 students at its vibrant campus in St. Catharines, which is at the centre of Canada’s beautiful Niagara Peninsula. With strong academic credentials set in a rich cultural community, the institution attracts students from 90 nationalities, in a safe and welcoming learning environment.

Mr. Zutautas spoke about the various programs on offer, including those in mass communications, which form the foundation of Brock University’s collaboration with CUD. He also revealed the unique opportunity for students in Canada to work alongside their studies through the co-op placement program.

Outside of academic life, Mr. Zutautas highlighted the various sports, arts and recreational services on offer to all students on the Brock University campus. He also spoke about the support offered to aspiring entrepreneurs, through the institution’s dedicated business incubator, BioLinc.

Brock University is one of a number of Canadian institutions with which CUD has a formal agreement to facilitate the transfer of credits between compatible programs, as well as promoting opportunities for graduate study or research.
