SEPTEMBER 26th, 2017, Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The car park behind Block C was buzzing last week when the Cosmopolitan Roadshow blew into town along with Victoria Secret’s PINK, Soap & Glory, Boots Middle East, and FIJI Water!
Students and staff twisted themselves in to all sorts of shapes trying their hands at giant connect 4 and twister.
There were tons of freebies with giveaway bags that included vouchers, stickers, and golden tattoos.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was a live DJ and an amazing Break Dance performance by Canadian University Dubai students.
The sun shone throughout the event and if there had been a roof over the car park it would have lifted. Everybody who attended had a smile on their face.
For many new students this was their first campus event showing just what the community can do here to bring the students and faculty together.
The event left a favorable impression with attendees from the student community and faculty and generated a great deal of coverage on the University’s social media outlets as well as local publications.
Staff involved with the event were quoted as having been very pleased with the quality of execution, the number of students that took part, and the positive feedback they received commending Cosmopolitan on this enjoyable & exciting initiative to reach out to students across the city.
