January 11th, 2015: Mr. Fahad Al Muhairi, a Master of Business Administration graduate from Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has been appointed as the General Manager for Attijari Al Islami, in a recent announcement by Commercial Bank of Dubai.
Mr. Al Muhairi graduated from CUD’s MBA program with a concentration in Finance and with over 20 years of experience in Conventional and Islamic Banking, he joins Attijari Al Islami to focus on further developing the Bank's Islamic Banking offering, in line with its business strategy.
Mr. Al Muhairi has already held senior roles in renowned local and international institutions such as Central Bank of the UAE and Standard Chartered Bank. He was the General Manager of Amlak Finance, and contributed to the setup of the company. His most recent role was as Chief Risk Officer at Dubai Islamic Bank where he gained extensive experience of Islamic Finance.
Attijari Al Islami has established itself as a market leader providing structured and innovative Sharia'a-compliant banking products and services to an extensive client base.

I relished working alongside my professors and classmates, which prompted me to seek excellence in my studies, achieving a GPA of 3.98, and I am pleased with the progress in my career post my graduation from CUD."
