December 13th, 2016: Chair of e-Business at Canadian University Dubai (CUD), Dr. Anas Najdawi, has been motivating the next generation of e-commerce professionals during a recent presentation at GEMS Modern Academy, Dubai.
Dr. Najdawi joined with Mr. Wissam Kadi of SAP to talk to students during the orientation session for their SAP ERP Training program. The main focus for discussion was the concept of Machine Learning, a strategic trend that enables computers to learn from large amounts of data without being explicitly programmed, and in which SAP is investing in heavily.
The purpose of the presentation was to help motivate the students as they embark upon their SAP ERP course on Sales and Distribution. There was lively interaction as the students engaged with what is set to be the next generation of business technology.
CUD’s longstanding partnership with SAP led to the establishment of a dedicated e-Business Lab on campus, the first of its kind in the UAE. The Lab gives CUD students a real-world insight into the application of technology in business operations, providing them with a practical understanding of what it’s like to work in the corporate world.
