February 15, 2018, CUD Boardroom: Abdunnazir Kottarkoth, affectionately known to every one as Nazir or Mr. Fixit, bade farewell to Canadian University Dubai after 12 years of loyal service.
Having begun his journey at the University shorthy after it opened its doors in 2006, Nazir was the epitome of dedication and devotion during his time here, ensuring that the university’s inner wheels were always running smoothly.
University staff gathered in the Lower Boardroom to bid Nazir farewell on his last day at work with a collection having been taken up on his behalf and presented to him at the event.
The farewell gathering was punctuated with refreshments and cake and a heartfelt tribute given by Dr. Rami Khatib in which he commended Nazir for his service and loyalty.
Nazir has returned home to take care of his family and the university Community wishes him a safe journey home and a prosperous career in his homeland, India.
