Dr. Agata recognized for contribution to PRME Initiative

Sunday, December 5, 2021: Dr. Agata Stachowicz-Stanusch, Professor, Faculty of Management, Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has been honoured for her generous contribution to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative and will be recognized for her efforts to transform business and management education, research, and thought leadership globally in the PRME Annual Report to be released later this year.

PRME is a worldwide initiative of the United Nations Global Compact that promotes responsible and sustainable management education. Its growth and impact have been made possible by the engagement of over 850 international signatories and partners, including CUD, that are committed to a common vision: building a better future through and for the leaders of tomorrow.

Speaking to her recognition, Dr. Agata said: “As a global learning community of thought leaders, academics, businesses, students, and leadership experts, PRME places great emphasis on engaging students and youth to tackle the development challenges of the 21st century. As a faculty member of Canadian University Dubai, member of the PRME working group on anti-corruption, and the chair of research in Middle East Chapter of PRME, I’m pleased to be acknowledged for my efforts and look forward to contributing further.”

Signatories that join PRME are encouraged to engage with a variety of platforms and projects that will allow them to scale up their commitment to transforming business and management education as well as advancing PRME’s Sustainable Development Goals and guiding principles that include: purpose, values, method, research, partnership, and dialogue.
