November 30th, 2015: Students from Canadian University Dubai (CUD) have been hearing from the Dubai Police ‘Dubai Watch’ team about the UAE’s criminal, traffic and anti-drug laws during an interactive awareness-raising session held recently on campus.
As part of the University’s mission to promote positive community engagement and active citizenship, Dubai Police were welcomed on campus to deliver a program of fun and educational activities aimed at raising awareness about the rules and regulations of UAE society.
Following an impressive display from the Dubai Police dogs and handlers, students heard from Captain Mohammad AlKhloofi and Sergeant Musa Guled about the perils and consequences of illegal drug use. The event concluded with a quick-fire quiz, testing students’ knowledge of the legal landscape of the UAE.
