September 12th, 2017; C-Hall, CUD, Dubai, UAE: Canadian University Dubai hosted its annual Fall semester open house with over 80 students accompanied by their parents or family attending. Attendees of the open house were given the opportunity to learn more about CUD's programme offerings in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Sciences, Engineering and Applied Science & Technology, Architecture and Design, Communication and Media Studies.
The open house also received a number of inquiries regarding graduate programmes.
For high school students about to enter the world of undergraduate studies finding the right university to fit their budget and their future career goals is a key factor in making the right choice. The same holds true for transfer students who realize two weeks into a semester at a new university that other choices may be still available to them and to help students answer questions about which school is right for them; CUD regularly hosts Open Houses throughout the year.
The benefit of an open house is that it provides the students and parents with the resources that are required to make a decision in one place at one time and therefore they can have all of their questions answered at one place.
Resources available to high school students and potential transfer students at the Fall 2017 Open House this year included admissions, financial information, orientation and transfer to CUD information. Other resources available at CUD's open houses are housing, student activities, and programme information for undergraduate and graduate programmes with some open houses specifically for parents
