CUD Partners with Csr Training Institute on Corporate Education Programs

May 23rd, 2016: Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has established a partnership with international organization, the CSR Training Institute, to bring tailor-made management, leadership and strategy-development training programs to Dubai’s corporate community.

The CSR Training Institute has established itself as an organization focused upon developing strategic alignments that bring mutual benefit to both business and society, through training and consultancy services, delivered through a world-class group of practicing experts from public, private, international and academic sectors.

The agreement was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Prof. Karim Chelli, President and Vice Chancellor of Canadian University Dubai and Prof. Wayne Dunn, President and Founder of CSR Training Institute and Professor of Practice in CSR (corporate social responsibility) at McGill University.

The two organizations will now collaborate on the development and delivery of bespoke training for businesses and individuals, focusing on helping organizations to create both shareholder and societal returns simultaneously. They will also explore the creation of a dedicate CSR training centre in Dubai.

Speaking about the new collaboration, Prof. Dunn said, “Society is expecting more and more from businesses, governments, communities and key stakeholders these days and such organizations must approach these expectations strategically. Our aim is to help create and capture value at the intersection of business and society and we look forward to working with Canadian University Dubai on further developing this agenda in the UAE.”
