November 8th, 2016: Students from Canadian University Dubai (CUD) have heard from a representative of Canada’s Wilfred Laurier University about the range of opportunities available to them at the Ontario-based institution.
Ms. Jessica Griffiths-Boisonneault, International Recruitment and Admission Coordinator at Wilfred Laurier University, visited the CUD campus to discussed transfer and further learning opportunities at the century-old establishment, which has campuses in Waterloo and Brantford, Ontario.
A strategic partner of CUD, Wilfred Laurier University hosts 19,000 students and has 80 alumni based in the UAE. The institution is renowned for its experiential learning approach, access to research, and stress on the development of interpersonal skills throughout the learning process.
With a growing portfolio of programs and the further adaptation of existing courses in the field of public health, Ms. Griffiths-Boisonneault focused particularly on the opportunities available in the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at Laurier. She also revealed the outstanding national and international credentials of the institution, which has been ranked first for student satisfaction in Canada by Macleans, and number one in the world for volunteerism.
