Biography
Google ScholarDr. Soumaya Askri is a senior academic leader with over 26 years of experience across North Africa and the UAE. She holds a PhD from Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris 1), France, and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE), and a Chartered Manager (CMgr).
She brings a strong track record in academic leadership, programme transformation, and institutional development, having led undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA programmes, and chaired strategic initiatives in research, industry engagement, and responsible management education. Her leadership focuses on aligning academic strategy with innovation, market relevance, and global standards.
Her work sits at the intersection of AI, digital transformation, and sustainability, where she contributes to shaping future-ready business education and strengthening university–industry ecosystems. An established author and research contributor, she is committed to advancing impactful, globally connected, and industry-aligned higher education.
