Project Type: Rehabilitation Centre for Children
The Little Tiger is a rehabilitation centre, conceptualized from a forest created for children, a playful place full of happiness and vigor. The place is inspired by the forest and its animals which is strong, brave, and cute at the same time exactly like our little clients. The design goal is to create a cheerful, happy, and fun place to help the children to adapt and recover from an injury or illness. The design concept is based on the jungle animals and views because animals in many times spiritually represent many good qualities such as willpower, strength, and courage. Consisting of three therapy departments, the physical, psychological, and speech department, the centre offers facilities such as a playing zoo library, hand crafting area, and a restaurant/ cafe where the children can help creating their own food. These facilities support a pressure less entertaining daily activates for reading, drawing, physical and mental games which, also helps in concluding the reason of the behavior and disorders of children. The rehabilitation centre is for any child in need, such as those who are victims of any form of violence be it domestic, bullying, kids needing post-surgical rehabilitation care, children suffering from speech disorders or mental disorders, ADHD, anxiety as well as special need kids, and much more.
