Continuing Education at Canadian University Dubai exists to support students in developing the relevant core skills to enter degree-level programs. We provide the following courses of study.
English for Academic Purposes
The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is provided to students who have the academic credentials to join a university program, but have yet to demonstrate that they meet the English language proficiency requirements.
The EAP program is an intensive University level certificate, specifically designed to help you prepare for academic life and to achieve the necessary English language standards to progress in our academic programs.
Intensive English Program
If you would like to improve your English language skills in a friendly, multicultural environment, our IEP program is for you.
The program is open to students of all ages, and professional and educational backgrounds, based in the UAE or coming from overseas.
It offers international students the opportunity to study English on a university-sponsored residence visa* and to experience life in Dubai for a semester. Courses are run in conjunction with the University Academic Calendar
Math for Academic Purposes
Math for Academic Purposes courses are offered to students who do not yet have the necessary mathematical background or knowledge to successfully undertake credit math courses. It is an intensive University level certificate program designed to prepare students for those courses.
Classes are delivered in a friendly classroom environment where students will actively collaborate with their colleagues and the teacher.
The aim of the Foundation Program is to provide courses in English Language, Arabic Language, Mathematics, Information Technology and General Study Skills (Personal Professional Development) to national and non-national students who hold a UAE High School Certificate, but have not met the minimum of 60% required for direct entry to higher education.
