Canadian University Dubai and The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library Collaborate to Enhance Academic Excellence


September 21st, 2023 | Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Canadian University Dubai (CUD) and The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library made their collaborations official, at the event of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement represents the meaningful union of educational institutions and resources, focused on enhancing academic excellence and research endeavours. Founded under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Mohammed bin Rashid Library serves as an extraordinary pillar to Dubai's cultural, social, and economic progress. 

His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library Foundation, graced the occasion with his presence. His pride in this agreement was expressed as he highlighted the benefits it brings to both students and faculty members. 

Mr. Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, Chancellor of CUD, extended his gratitude to The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library and all participants involved in this collaboration. He emphasized the importance of advancing education and that initiatives like this MoU, represent significant strides forward for the university. 

With its doors of knowledge opened to the public in June 2022, The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library is a treasury of knowledge in the heart of Dubai. The Library is the largest in the MENA region, home to an extraordinary collection of library resources and digital collections including e-books, audiobooks, multimedia files and streaming media. The Library’s mission is to ignite an enthusiasm for learning and to inspire youth to learn, transform, and play a role in shaping the future.
