Canadian University Dubai (CUD), together with 112 regional and international higher education institutions participated in the annual Global Education & Training Exhibition (GETEX), which was held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 26th – 28th April 2023. Under the Patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan bin Mabarak Al Nahayan, Cabinet Member and UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and joined by Mr. Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, Chancellor of CUD, and Professor Karim Chelli, President and Vice-Chancellor of CUD, among other delegates, GETEX is a premier event in the region that brings together students, parents, and educators to explore opportunities for higher education and training.
Since 1984, GETEX has been welcoming more than 25,000 visitors, including locals and expatriates, who are interested in exploring opportunities that can help them make informed decisions regarding their education and career prospects in transforming academic environments.
At the event, visitors had the opportunity to meet with CUD’s globally qualified faculty to discuss CUD’s degrees in over 18 accredited programs and 30 majors. Seeking the right advice for each student’s career path is important before commencing studies and to seek personalized guidance on career paths to pave the way towards a successful future.
The three-day event includes more than 20 live seminars, and CUD participated in two of these, giving students a window to engage and ask questions. A popular topic of interest for CUD, from students visiting GETEX is their interest in starting to study with CUD in Dubai, and then transferring and graduating in Canada.
