October 24th, 2018: Representatives from the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) visited our campus to see CUD’s Architectural programs.
The CIAT delegation was led by their President, Mr. Alex Naraian and received by Dr. Hamoud Dekkiche, Head of Architecture at the university along with other faculty members from the Department of Architecture.
During the event, faculty and students attended a presentation by CIAT, outlining their mission, their operations, and their goals in CUD.
This was CIAT’s second visit to the university and during their stay, they discussed the possibility of accreditation for a new program in Architecture focusing on Building Information Management (BIM) and Sustainability.
