Club Fair at CUD

Sept 27, Block C, CUD;  Societies and Clubs in the University set up stalls as part of the annual Club Fair Day to recruit new and existing students to their events.

With representatives from various clubs, one of the most engaging clubs was the Robotics Club receiving a large number of visitors.

Similarly, the Arts & Sports Clubs both had more than a few students stopping by to inquire about activities.

Other clubs partaking in this year's club fair; The Humanitarian Club, where CUD students can make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate, The Dance and Drama Club where dancing, singing and acting are all available; Film Making and Photography; Books and Poetry, where you can read or write poems, books, and short stories; Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, a student branch of an internationally recognized professional body; and Model United Nations which addresses the political problems of the world in a virtual environment.

The Fair gave opportunities for these clubs to set out their wares in a bid to attract new recruits to their ranks.

Students showed great interest in what they saw and what they were told and every team represented was able to swell their ranks with new and eager participants queuing up to join.
