September 25th, 2018: The outside of CUD’s Hall C was transformed from a humble car park to a grand, sensational, and very pink party. Hosted by Steff Hawker, event producer for Cosmopolitan’s campus-to-campus roadshow in association with their sponsor, Victoria’s Secret’s Pink, the event attracted both male and female students from all over CUD, especially as the campus surged with music provided by DJ Burlene.
This year’s theme was about being active, serving to promote Victoria’s Secret’s new line of work-out attire. To show this, Cosmo provided the students with all sorts of physical activities ranging from a tire-hopping obstacle course, spoon races, sack races through to Zumba dancing. Those participating also had fun reaching and stretching across a huge twister mat, set out in all shades of pink, of course!
There were plenty of giveaways and prizes, including Pink brand sweatshirts and free Cosmo magazines. One lucky winner was even awarded a 500Dhs Victoria’s Secret gift card. Those who participated were thrilled by the high-action activities, pleased by the generous gifts, and all left feeling generally refreshed, energetic, and contented.
