The Canadian University Dubai signed a memorandum of understanding with the Université de Sherbrooke – paving ways for several additional research and teaching collaborations.
Facilitating a sustainable and fulfilling collaboration between the two institutions
The agreement evolves existing cooperations between the two higher education universities who have embarked on a journey together to build a sustainable future. Built upon collaboration between Dr. Seif Khiati and Prof. Ammar Yahia, this cooperation will advance both institutions pursuit of knowledge and innovation. The most recent joint-project focused on the development of low-carbon materials in the service of modern architectural designs and championed by Ammar Yahia, Professor, Civil Engineering & Building Engineering, UdeS and vis-à-vis Seif Khiati, Associate Professor, Architecture, Canadian University Dubai.

The well-established relationship is solidified by the agreement which provides tools to develop research – through training programs, student transfers and co-leading graduate students. The collaborations support the interrelations and developments between Canada and the UAE – and provide future pathways to explore in Arts, Music, Sustainable Development, History and Management.
