CUD highlights Canadian curriculum and transfer opportunities in visits to Nigerian high schools

January 28th, 2019: Representatives from Canadian University Dubai (CUD) have conducted a series of visits to high schools in Nigeria to introduce local students to the opportunities available for them to pursue a Canadian-curriculum degree program.

A delegation from the University’s advancement team interacted with 200 students during the visits, providing information on the diverse range of study disciplines available across CUD’s Faculties of Communication, Arts and Sciences, Management, and Engineering and Architecture.

The year 11 and year 12 students were keen to discover more about the undergraduate programs on offer at CUD, each of which is based on Canadian curriculum and education principles. They were also briefed on the University’s growing network of transfer partners and the opportunities to finish their studies at an institution in Canada or elsewhere overseas.

Among the team taking part in the visits, Student Sponsorship Liaison Officer, Mr. Jeries Khayyat said, “It is gratifying to see so many students who have thought about their future and done their research. There is already a lot of knowledge here about the University and we have even met younger relatives of CUD graduates during our visit. The students have been very interested in learning more about the University, particularly the opportunity to study in Canada, and we hope to be welcoming many of them to our campus in the future.”
