CUD Hosts Graduate Student Networking Event

November 11th, 2015: Students and faculty of the Master of Business Administration and Master of Information Technology Management and Governance programs at Canadian University Dubai (CUD) have come together with professionals from local corporations at a meet and greet event to support networking and among graduate students and promote collaboration between the University and business communities.

Representatives from CUD’s two graduate programs, many of them senior executives themselves, took the opportunity to meet with their peers and faculty members in an informal setting, and also to extend their professional networks by connecting with other local business professionals.

Dr. Rachid Alami, Director of the graduate studies programs at CUD said, “The purpose of the event was to provide an opportunity for students to meet with each other outside the classroom and find out more about their different professional as well as cultural backgrounds. We were also pleased to welcome members of the local business community, some of whom were looking to become MBA candidates themselves.”

One such guest, local business owner, Moneed Ghumman, said, “I’ve been considering registering for an MBA at CUD, so this event was a great opportunity for me to find out more about the program from both a faculty and student perspective.”
