He outlined how poor nutrition and dietary habits can lead to a variety of health problems in children, including excessive weight gain and obesity. Childhood obesity can lead to many health problems, ranging from Type II diabetes to heart disease to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
He spoke at length about possible ways to prevent childhood obesity and create healthful eating habits.
