Wednesday, March 17, 2021: At Canadian University Dubai (CUD), we offer a practice-based approach to learning. Our programs present students with unique opportunities to collaborate with senior faculty on applied research projects and explore both innovation and entrepreneurship.
We are proud to share in the accomplishment of Assistant Professor, Faculty of Communication, Arts and Sciences, Dr. Ghada Abaido, and freshman student, Passant G. Attaweya, whose recent work appears in journals. This is the first time a CUD student has been published on this platform.
Entitled “Guardians of Humanity: How Angels are portrayed in Islam”, the research paper discusses and analyses the concept of angels and their place in Islam. In doing so, it aims to specify several aspects of angels, including their creation, characteristics, duties, and names, many of which have been subject to confusion.
Depictions and portrayals are an integral part of the media and communications field. We congratulate both Dr. Abaido and Ms. Attaweya on their achievement.
