May 17th, 2018: Students from the IB Programme at Repton School in Dubai attended a business activities day organized by the University.
Visitors were greeted by Ms. Brittany, Mr. Hameed and Mr. Tim, who introduced the young students to CUD. Mr. Emilio from Admissions explained the recruitment. Afterward, they received a guided tour of the University, visiting Red Theatre, the library, science labs, the stock exchange simulator and business incubators. There was also an opportunity for selfies on CUD’s roof with Burj Khalifa in the background.
The range of activities included a stock market simulation led by Dr. Imen, a marketing quiz organized by Dr. Suhair and a demonstration of setting up an e-business by Mr. Talal. There was also a short presentation by Dr. Stephane on the new Psychology programme while and Dr. Marc gave an overview of the Business Department.
After refreshments, the Repton students, all of whom were impressed by the visit, headed back to their school.
