Canadian University Dubai (CUD) celebrated National United Arab Emirates Flag Day on the November 3rd, 2022, honoured by Mr. Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, CUD’s Chancellor, in the presence of a full auditorium of students, faculty and staff.
The national occasion honours the founders of the United Arab Emirates. Fatima Ali Salim Alowais and Jummah Buti Saeed Al Ghandi presented profound speeches at UAE Flag Day. The UAE Flag represents unity, pride, peace, and spirit of the people of the United Arab Emirates – green for hope, white for peace, black for strength and red for courage. The UAE flag ceremony at the CUD HUB campus was led by Omar Saif Al Ahli and Hessa Rahimi.
The National Anthem was performed excellently on the piano by Emirati CUD student, Shaima Alhai during the noteworthy celebration.
UAE National Flag Day is a special and significant occasion which was respectfully celebrated in the auditorium of the CUD HUB campus, City Walk, Dubai, UAE.
