Canadian University Dubai places the health and safety of the CUD community as our utmost priority
Welcome new and returning students to the 2020-21 academic year! We may have an unusual start to the new academic year, but we anticipate opportunities in the changes we see ahead.
COVID-19 is the first global pandemic in the digital age. Your commitment to education during this challenging time presents opportunities like we have never seen before. Together, we are experiencing history in the making, changing the landscape of scholarly activities. As students, we encourage you to take pride in your part as partners in this change. CUD can learn from you. Your intuition, in response to change, presents opportunity. We will watch, listen, and grow stronger with you. Together we will rise to the challenge; we cannot do it without you.
As our commitment to your safety and well being is our top priority, we have been anticipating directives from the authorities to ensure we are prepared. At this time, as we release details of our Fall 2020 academic operations plan based on the Ministry of Education guidelines and the Board of Trustees decision, we continue to monitor the situation. CUD may adapt its teaching delivery mode, operations, and activities due to changing circumstances related to our health and safety and any new national directives.
Thank you for adapting and pressing on. Our Fall 2020 plan is a major milestone on our path towards learning to live with the global pandemic. Change is difficult. It challenges the ways we’ve always done things but can also create new opportunities for innovation. We know that things will be different, but our commitment to quality and our CUD community’s safety and success remains as strong as ever.
Stay safe, and we look forward to starting the new academic year.
