MAY 1ST, 2020: MESSAGE FROM THE CHANCELLOR & THE PRESIDENT
END OF SEMESTER
As the semester comes to an end, we would like to congratulate you on your effort throughout this time. We understand how challenging this semester has been, and we are proud of you for embracing the new learning dynamic. We hope this has been a learning experience in which you emerge as a stronger version of yourself.
We want to extend our gratitude to Student Council, who has been working with faculty and management to come up with innovative solutions during this particular time. Student Council has worked tirelessly and taken a proactive approach to ensure students continue to feel a sense of community.
As a student-centered university, we dedicate our focus to students and prioritize their well-being. While we recognize this situation affected us on a collective level, we know it can influence us on an individual level as well. It is expected and completely normal to be feeling some anxiety as this situation unfolds. If you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, uncertain, or have any personal concerns regarding your academics or final examinations, please e-mail the university student support committee at firstname.lastname@example.org for counseling, academic guidance, or clarity.
With finals soon approaching, we would like to wish you the best of luck.
Thank you again for your understanding and flexibility. COVID-19 is an evolving situation, and we are here for you every step of the way. We are looking forward to welcoming you back to campus once the situation permits, and we are optimistic about our resilience and ingenuity to move forward.
