Research Groups

At SEAST, our faculty and students work at the bleeding edge of science and technology to discover practical solutions that address the most pressing issues of today. Our research covers a range of fields including machine learning, AI, cybersecurity, biomedicine, power systems, robotics, telecommunications, computer vision, control theory, applied mathematics, and others. 

 

A key component of the research engine at SEAST are the specialized research clusters which bring together under one umbrella researchers with common goals and interests. Our research is focused across 3 main axes: Cybersecurity, AI, and Robotics.

 

Systems group

The Systems Research Group is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of computer systems through innovative and cutting-edge research in distributed computing, ensuring scalable and efficient operations across diverse networks and platforms.

AI/ML group

The AI/ML Research Group is committed to advancing the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning through groundbreaking research and practical applications.

Mathematics Group

The Mathematics Research Group consists of mathematicians and interdisciplinary researchers, dedicated to advancing the scholarly study of mathematics and its multifaceted applications.

Robotics group

The Robotics Research Group is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of robotics through innovative research and real-world applications.
