Abu Dhabi 6G Summit 2022 | 6G Network Security: Challenges and Opportunities

Canadian University Dubai was represented by Prof. Adel Ben Mnaouer, Faculty of Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology, as an organizer and moderator at the 6G Summit held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on November 4th, 2022, which was organized by the Technology Innovation Institute, Abu Dhabi. 

Aligned to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) inspiration to become a pioneering leader in advanced technology in the disciplines of Artificial Intelligence and Telecommunications – the 6G Summit provided a platform to promote the UAE’s technological progress through exhibitions, demonstrations, discussions and outstanding keynotes. The web of 6G envisages concepts which are geared to unleash the optimal futuristic prospective of Artificial Intelligence and Telecommunications that is poised to transform the world.

The 6G panel experts discussed the challenges and opportunities expected to be encountered in the 6G Networks. The future of 6G is anticipated as a disruptor that is empowering/enabling several technologies, including and not limited to, remote robotic surgery, enhancing digital sustainability and shaping a holographic society through the Metaverse. 

The Summit was a remarkable platform to connect global experts in research, industry and organizations as the 6G Network evolves and are investigated and researched.
